Registration Procedure
Trophies, Ribbons, and the Awards Ceremony

Bring your antlers and bear skulls anytime while the show is open for measuring until 11:00am Sunday.  Measuring for the Awards Ceremony cuts off a t 11:00am Sunday.  However, if some of the measurers are finished with Awards measuring they may take some late registered heads/skulls which will not be eligible for the Awards Ceremony.

There is a registration fee of $20.00 for each trophy entered.  You will receive a receipt which will act as your free pass to the show all weekend or as long as your trophy is at the show.  A duplicate receipt is attached to the antlers or bear skull to identify it.  Be careful with your receipt.  You will need it when you pick up your antlers/bear skull to go home.  If you lose it the extra time needed to verify your identity will delay you.

Please print all information on the receipt clearly and legibly and be certain to write your name the way you want it to appear on your certificate.  The computer operator who enters your name in the record and prints your Trophy Certificate should be able to read your printing without guessing.  When you pick up your antlers/bear skull you should also pick up your Trophy Certificate which will be in a protective envelope.  Open the envelope and check the spelling of your name and your trophy score.  If there is a mistake it can be corrected before you leave the show without extra expense and delay.  If you report a mistake after you leave the show, there will be a small charge to have a corrected certificate mailed to you.

It will take approximately three or four hours for your entry to be processed through our registration and measuring process.  When you see it hanging on the Trophy Display you'll know it's finished, not before.  So relax, enjoy the show, take in a couple of seminars.  When your trophy is scored and entered in the records it will immediately be taken out and placed on the Trophy Display.

DON'T PICK UP YOUR TROPHY UNTIL YOU'RE READY TO LEAVE THE SHOW!!!!

For security reasons, no one is allowed to walk around in the show carrying a deer head or bear skull.  When you pick up your trophy you will be required to immediately leave the show by the nearest exit.  The standings in the trophy competition will be posted several times on Saturday and Sunday.  The Final Awards list will not be posted until about 1:00pm on Sunday.  The Awards Ceremony is normally held at 2:00 pm.  If you attend the Awards Ceremony you pick up your ribbons and trophies without any cost.  You may leave the show and learn later that your trophy was listed in the Awards Ceremony and was awarded a ribbon and possibly a 1st place statuette.  If you aren't there and we have to ship them to you there will be a small charge.
