Missouri and Southern Illinois are home to hundreds of thousands of avid deer and turkey hunters. The Gate way Center, in Collinsville, IL. exit 11, off interstate  I-70.  Hundreds of free parking spaces.  Show size over 70,000 sq. ft., over 180 commercial booths inside.  Measuring at the show for state and national record books!  Two seminar rooms with outstanding speakers most hours.  Free drawing every day for a beautiful framed wildlife art print with a value of $224.00.

THREE DAYS OF WHITETAIL EXCITEMENT!
  • FREE Hourly Seminars!  New Products - Great Bargains - Show Specials!  Sportsman's Bonanza.  More than 150 Exhibit Booths.  Schedule and speakers will be posted about one month prior to the show date.
  • Trophy Competition and Display - over 250 entries last year.  Over 300 entries expected this year. $20.00 registration fee includes free show admission all three days of the show while your trophy is on display. Over 30 Trophy Categories including adult, youth, current-season, historical, firearm, archery, muzzleloader, picked-up, typical, non-typical and shed antler.  Get your whitetail antlers measured and scored for state and national record books.  Official measurers at the show will help you with B&C, P&Y and other record book entries. Bring your antlers in during show hours Friday, 3pm - 9 pm - Saturday, 9am - 6pm - Sunday 10am - 11am. 
    Competition starts at 3pm Sunday. 
  • Kids Archery instruction and shooting opportunities. Hands-on events for the entire family, Electronic Pheasant Hunt, Trout Pond and Much More! 
  • Shed antler & sporting collectibles auction Saturday beginning at 1:00pm.  Bring your shed antlers and auction items Saturday 8:30am to be registered for the auction.

3-D Pop-Up Archery Competition and Open Shooting

*Open shooting $10.00 for ten arrows. * $20.00 entry fee for the competition gives one practice round and one round for score. you think you can improve your score you can purchase additional rounds for $10.00 per round.
  • - No speed limit - 80lb limb limit
  • - 5 arrows on shooting stand only
  • - No sky drawing A dropped arrow is lost
  • - Pop up targets must be shot while exposed
  • - Running target must be moving
  • - Must switch stands after arrows shot
  • - Can qualify as many times as want high score stands
  • - No range finders
  • - Qualifying round consists of 10 arrows with total score added together
  • - Can only shoot 1 class
  • - Must sign liability release before shooting

Shed Antler & Sporting Collectibles Auction

The Shed Antler and Sporting Collectibles Auction will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday January 30, 2010 as an additional event of the  St. Louis Deer Classic. The auction may run longer than show hours on Saturday but since the Auction is held in a separate room it will be allowed to run until all items are sold or until 8:00 p.m. that evening. Items to be entered in the Auction can be brought in during show hours on Friday 3pm - 9pm and Saturday, 9am - 12pm. Bring items directly to the Auction Office.
Shed Antlers do not have to be scored to be entered in the auction but may bring a higher price if they have been officially scored and the score card is displayed with the Shed Antlers.

In addition to Shed Antlers, other items acceptable to the auction might be:
  • - Sheds or mounts of Mule Deer, Elk, Moose & other horned species
  • - Antique hunting & fishing articles
  • - Cowboy and Old West antiques and collectibles
  • - Taxidermy items
  • - Native American items
  • - Civil War antiques and collectibles
  • - Guns***

***Long guns only, pistols will not be accepted. Due to Federal Firearm regulations that require a 24 hour waiting period, Rifles and shotguns bought at the auction on Saturday can be picked up Sunday. Your firearm receipt will admit you free back into the building to pick up your purchase. You will also have free access back into the show before picking up your firearm. Guns will be the first items sold at auction and no guns will be accepted for auction once the auction starts.

The first three rows in the auction will be reserved for those with a bidding card. Married couples or business partners may be admitted to the reserved seating area with one bidding card.
